Interprofiel was founded in 1984 by Mr Van Der Perren Louis who was making tooling for woodturning machinery and dealer for Hempel in the BeNeLux.

In 1988 his son Van Der Perren Peter came in to the business and from 1999 he took over and expanded the tooling and machinery worldwide with internet coming in.

In the meanwhile the company started to sell Locatelli macchine and Brusa di Garboli machines all over the world as their dealer. Now they are the expert leader in second hand machinery and new machinery concerning wood turning. They sold their woodturning machines and woodturning tools all over the world for many years now. Even the last couple of years they sold 28 new Locatelli lathes and more than 10 new brusa di garboli rod milling machines new worldwide.
